I actually picked up this set a while ago, but it’s still on sale (for $13!) in Sephora’s sale section online, so I decided to feature it before it sells out.
This set comes with 6 minis. Each mini is only 4mL, but honestly you’ll get a good number of manicures out of each bottle! And at $13, they are just over $2 per mini.
The set comes packaged in a black box with gold skulls all over it,…
The formula on these varied, but I used 2 coats with topcoat for all colours except the glitter where I used 3 coats.
Up first, Bruton Mews, a deep rich green. At one coat, it’s very green but at two coats it’s a dark, blackened green. This one had a good formula and applied with no problems.
Next is Chelsea Bridge Road, a bright tomato red jelly. This one had the best formula out of all of the polishes.
The third one is called Chester Street, a pearly beige neutral. It has just a bit of shimmer in it, which is really pretty. This one was a bit thick for my liking.
Next is Jermyn Street, a dusty mauve colour… this one had the worst formula of all. It was too thick and didn’t apply evenly at all.
This one is my favourite of the bunch. A deep, darkened plummy colour called Richmond Terrace
Finally, the glitter, Sloane Gardens. I used 3 coats which reached nearly full coverage… if you wanted to use this as a topcoat, it would work really well with 1 coat.
What do you think? Overall, I think there are some good polishes, but a few misses. For $13, I’m not too upset!
