The last two polishes from Indie Polish are coming up… and they both glitter toppers inspired by the huge hit movie Frozen. Having taught Kindergarten last year, the movie and everything about it was drummed into my head more times than I can count. (Really, that’s just what I tell people. I loooove the movie!!)
Today, I have the glitter topper which is the movie’s namesake – Frozen. The fun topper reminds more of Anna, with it’s mix of grey, green, purple, and blue glitters.

With today’s post, that rounds out the 6 polishes from the Letters From a Porcupine colletion by Eat. Sleep. Polish. Let’s go back and revisit them all!
From L-R: 2×4, Change, Mouthful of Cavities (on top), No Rain (lying down), Toes Across the Floor, Soul One.
Finally, the last instalment of the Letters From a Porcupine collection by Eat. Sleep. Polish. I must admit, I took too long to get all these pictures posted up on the blog. I blame Cat, really, because she distracted me with so many other pretty polishes recently that I just couldn’t focus. This is Mouthful of Cavities, which I actually wore alongside Toes Across the Floor but I wanted it to have it’s own post where I was wearing it on all my nails. So… voila.
When I Love Nail Polish launched their Fall collection, I had a really hard time narrowing my choices down. Eventually, I settled on two colours – Iconic, a gold holo, and Black Orchid, which I have for you today. I’m a little late to the party, but the polishes are still available… and still gorgeous!
Admittedly, I’ve been on quite the Enchanted Polish/Eat Sleep Polish binge around here. It’s just that I’ve accumulated quite a few new polishes from both brands in the past few months, and they are so pretty that it’s hard not to reach for them when doing a new mani. Although my other polishes have been put aside for a bit, they aren’t forgotten or unloved. So let’s visit one of them today.
This is Julep’s Ariana, a Classic with a Twist colour that Julep describes as an “enchanted berry iridescent chrome.” I’m not sure about the iridescent part, but I’ll go along with berry chrome. It does have a bit of shimmer to it, but I can’t say I found it to be very iridescent. This is two coats with topcoat.
Last week, I showed off one of the new releases from Eat. Sleep. Polish.‘s Letters to a Porcupine collection… check out Soul One here. Today, I have Toes Across the Floor with an accent of Mouthful of Cavities. Both are tricky little polishes, that act shy in front of the camera! It was a bit difficult to capture their true complexity.
Although recently I’ve been wearing lots of indie polishes, I do have a big spot in my heart (and polish stash) for OPI. My biggest problem with OPI is the huge collections they come out with… and they do it multiple times per year, so it’s hard to keep up with all my OPI lemmings! Lucky for me, I found this in a swap group I’m in, and grabbed it while I had the chance. Grape… Set… Match! came out in 2011 in a duo, with a silver holographic glitter topcoat called Servin’ Up Sparkle. The duo was released in honour of Serena Williams competing at the Wimbledon Grand Slam tournament that year, and is aptly called the Glam Slam duo.
Grape… Set… Match! is a grape purple (surprised?) packed with pink and blue shimmer that give the polish a beautiful shine and duochrome effect. This is 2 coats with topcoat… excuse the tipwear, as I’ve been busy getting my new classroom set up for the school year!
So pretty! Do you go after older polishes that you missed out on, or do you stick to new releases?! Leave me a comment below and let me know. 🙂 Happy Monday!
