Enchanted Polish – September 2013

Enchanted Polish has done a series of monthly polishes that are only available one-time. They started in December 2012… and this is the latest, September 2013. It’s my first monthly polish from EP! And it’s gorgeous!!! Love the soft pink, and the holo… and gold flash. 🙂 Two coats with topcoat. No application problems as usual with EP. 

Now time for some polish spam. Check out the bottle in these shots… wow!

Sadly, my long nails are now chopped down to shorties, as I chipped one getting out of the car! Sigh. Polish problems! Enjoy your weekend! 

Enchanted Polish – Yesterday

I’m back with another Enchanted. I can’t help myself, they are so pretty! Yesterday was a recent addition to the popular Imagine collection, which previously had 6 beautiful polishes. Check out my swatches of  Mean Mr Mustard and Across The Universe .

Yesterday is a great fall colour. It’s a multichrome with holo glitter. Beauty! This is three coats with topcoat. I think you can get away with 2 coats, but I usually go for 3 if I’m unsure. Enjoy!

And really, you must watch the video swatch… it shows of the glittery holo so well! 🙂

Enchanted Polish – Majestic

Beauty!! Majestic is a greyed-out lilac holo with a pink flash. Phew… sounds like a lot, but it’s seriously gorgeous and I’ve already worn it twice (and have other Enchanteds waiting for their first time out of the box)!!! 

This is three coats with topcoat. The formula (as always) was really great, and you know I’m going to love it because of the holo goodness! 🙂 Enjoy!

Enchanted Polish – Future Reflections

Hey lovelies! Back again with another Enchanted Polish. They are worth the trouble of going through crazy restocks, because they are so beautiful! Future Reflections is from the Time to Pretend collection… it’s a duochrome holo, which is beautiful. As usual, the formula was great. This is 3 coats and topcoat, but I only did 2 coats on my right hand and it was just as good.

There is some tipwear, because I took these pictures after wearing it for a full day… and I do teach kindergarten, so my day involves squishing playdough, tying shoelaces (AGAIN!?), opening 19348034 snack containers, and washing my own hands as much as possible to avoid germs!

I did bring down the length on my nails a lot, because I was getting afraid of scratching the kiddos accidentally. This is much safer!

Enchanted Polish – Mean Mr Mustard

Hola, chicas! 😉

Here’s an Enchanted Polish colour I grabbed recently – Mean Mr. Mustard. I think MMM doesn’t get much love, because it’s an unusual green/mustard/teal multichrome with some scatter holo glitter. I grabbed this at the Nail Polish Canada restock… I got my first order of Water for Unicorns, Stay Classy San Diego, Kids for myself and Ciao Milano for a friend. After I checked out, I looked again and MMM was still available, so I grabbed it. I was unsure if I would love it – but I thought I might as well give it a go… worst case scenario, I could possibly find someone to swap with for something else!

Well, I do love it! It’s one of those ‘ugly-pretty’ colours. The mustard is kind of strange and unusual, but I like that!

This is two coats of MMM with one coat of Djinn in a Bottle on top – you’ll see it looks more holographic than other swatches because of that! 🙂 I think it’s a great combo.

Prepare for picture overload! I really wanted to capture all the colour shifts.

Enchanted Polish – Across the Universe

Phew! Made it through the first week of school… Kindergarten sure is busy and crazy, but so much fun! 🙂 I’m looking forward to this year a lot. 

Here is Enchanted Polish’s Across the Universe from the Imagine collection. A multichrome that is mostly purple/blue but also has some yellow/red moments!! It also has a small amount of fine holographic glitter thrown in. This polish is gorgeous, so I have nothing to say except Enjoy! and overload you with pictures!!

Enchanted Polish

I belong to an amazing community of women… most of whom I haven’t even met. I chat with them daily on a Facebook group for Canadian ladies who love beauty! We keep each other up to date on everything… including Enchanted Polish restocks. 

Now, if you’re an EP newbie like me, you might not realize what this means. These restocks last minutes before they sell out, and if you miss it you’ll be waiting a few months for your next chance. These polishes sell out that fast for a reason. They are gorgeous. Gorgeous. 

During the restock, I was lucky enough to grab 3 polishes. Two for myself, and one for another Facebook friend! Today, I’m sharing Ciao Milano. It’s a glitter in a clear base, so I wore it over two coats of OPI’s Siberian Nights. 

Ciao Milano is a multi-chrome glitter… the two predominate colours it shifts between being tealy-green and purple. But there are also pinks, greens, reds and even orange in there! It was so difficult to capture all the colours, but I tried my best. Also, notice the seeming tip-wear. It’s really shrinkage from Seche Vite. I am so breaking up with Seche.
